ABOUT ME

I enjoy traveling, studying languages, listening to music, and meeting new people. By day, I like to figure out why certain (mostly classical) music is the way that it is and how is it related to contemporary cultures. For me, my studies are a window onto history and a great excuse to travel and learn about the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to discover as much as I can about myself and the world. For me, that's something I hope never ends. I like meeting and talking, seeing new places, reading new books. I hope I never grow too content or satisfied with who I am, where I live, or what I do.

Interests

Classical music, history, literature are some of my main interests. Also like shipwrecks, baking cookies/brownies/candy, and building stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took Amtrak from Chicago to SanFran--it was like seeing the US from the inside out--so much of the US I've only seen from a highway--plus I went over some stunning terrain and met a bunch of interesting people.
