Adventurer, minimalist. I'm hard headed and creative. I do my best not to waste anything. I believe there are better ways for us to live where everyone thrives and humanity can be pushed forward by creative minds rather than held back because of traditional thinking. I don't have all the answers, but I'm always thinking about the questions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used a network called WarmShowers.org to have a safe place to camp, a shower, a warm meal, and clean laundry along the bike trip I completed through 15 states in 2013.

I have stayed with four hosts from CouchSurfing and we are all still great friends.

Any movie with Tom Cruise, I'm a huge Tom Cruise fan. I've read The Art of War several times, Ishmael, My Ishmael, Pillars of the Earth, Sitka, The Omnivore's Dilemma, In Defense of Food, The Richest Man in Babylon, The Alchemist, and many more. I'm currently listening to a very wide range of music from the Bloodhound Gang to the Lumineers.

This is going to sound dumb, but I was indirectly struck by lightning. I was within just a few feet of a lightning strike out on a boat on the coast of Key West, FL. I was working for a French salver by the name of Arnot and he was underwater at the time diving a safety mooring. It all happened extremely fast! The air was drawn out away from me and the space around me was charged with electricity, it felt as though the pressure had been removed until suddenly, all at once, the air came rushing back in and slammed against me. Then I heard a loud pop and the crash of thunder.
