ABOUT ME

We are a couple from Iceland who are currently travelling around the world. How to you describe two people? We enjoy meeting new and interesting people and to enjoy a good laugh. We love meeting people who have a different world view than us, hiking(even though the heat can be bit to much for us), riding on scooters in mountains(for example in Laos) and seeing what nature has to offer. Having a beer with friends, meeting people from couchsurfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just pure awesome, first couch experience was amazing, met Matt for AFL game, went running/sightseeing with Matilda and her couchsurfers and learned about being a vegan from Leonie. This is community is awesome, what a great way to meet people, not just to surf.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love comedies, since laughing is the most fun thing you can do.

We love classic rock. Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Queen. Our band is MGMT at the moment. We want to learn about new music and see what other people are listening to. We enjoy all kinds of music, especially in the right context.

Palli's personal favourite is Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy collection and I used to read every John Grisham book. Madda is a big fan of Arnaldur Indriðason and even found a English copy of Jar City in Luang Nam Tha, Laos.

Teach, Learn, Share

Icelandic history , the vikings sagas is the first thing that pops in mind. We can teach you Icelandic,(only 300.000 people speak it)
