i like to be in the bush, to taste new food, sleep in different places, talk, listen, plant.
(unfortunately i don't have my own room at the moment so will have to wait a little while to host people.)
I work in sydney building gardens for kids, running school camps to remote areas of australia or working on farms in different places. I love plants, swimming, stories and food...and dancing.
I've travelled around a fair bit and have lived on farms around Ecuador and in the city of Barcelona.
learning, community, plants & soil, adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
to surf and host.
i have a couch in the inner west of Sydney. I can maybe host 1-2 people if its okay with everyone in my house at the time. (update, not able to host at this time as I don't have my own room for a while)
Our couch in Glebe is often housing someone. There's usually food to share and a backyard to relax in.
Last minute couchsurf in Malaga, we were planning on sleeping in a park but when we went to a couchsurfing meetup that night Levi offered my friend and I a bed for the night. Was a huge favour and we felt well looked after.
I couchsurfed in Paris, France, for two nights, with the lovely Camille. He showed me paris by night and will hopefully come and visit sydney soon.
My brother and I courchsurfed in Antofagasta, Chile. My brother ended up becoming best friends&travel buddies with Lisa, she put us up with some friends and took us around the city, to secret places along the coast to eat shellfish off the rocks, and made sure we had a mad memorable time.
In Sydney I have hosted two couchsurfers, Ben & Annelise. Annelise was a friend of my housemates, and Ben I met while working on farms in Queensland. They each stayed for a few weeks, we had a spare room that they used. It was nice to have some different voices in the house, and it worked well since we were oftenin the house at different times so wasn't too busy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping out in Central Australia, driving for days and days through all the red sand and learning about my country.
Hitch-hiking the south coast of Spain and up all along to Portugal, sleeping on beaches and enjoying the beautiful coast and meeting people.
La Festival de la Tradicion Oral y Las Semillas, Rio Cana, Ecuador. true community and love for the land.
Teach, Learn, Share
i can share my love for life and plants and a love for people in general. and dancing!
I always like to practice my spanish.
Where we live is just near a beautiful bay and a short walk to the city and inner west of sydney. Very fun place to be, and to come back at the end of the day and relax. There isn't much private space if you're on the couch but the house is definitely big enough for us all :)
