Be more than just a tourist. I want to discover the hidden gems of Europe, meet interesting people, and find adventure in unique places.
I absolutely love to travel. I will be studying abroad in Heidelberg from September to April, so obviously I'll be jumping at every opportunity to travel on weekends! This will be my first time out of America, and while I know it will not be be last, I plan to make the most out of the next few months. I want to meet new people, go to unique places, do weird and exciting things...basically, I want to have a great time while overseas! I'm extremely easy to get along with, and I am open to trying pretty much anything (within legal limits).
I try everything. Whether it's new food, a new place, a new friend, a new subject in school, or a new style of music, I am always open to trying new things. I have no idea what I want to do with my life, and I don't know half as much as I would like to about the world, but trying everything is the first step in figuring out who I am, what I want, and why I'm here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I will not be able to be a host (as I am a student), I can't wait to get to know fellow couchsurfers through this program!
I am new to this program, so I have no experiences yet. Can't wait to change that!
Singing, talking to random strangers, listening to music (REAL music...none of this hip hop/rap nonsense), trying new food, eating in general, films, musical theater, history, art, writing, Earl Grey tea, British television, and about a million other things.
Music, Movies, and Books
I can't even begin to list my favorite movies...I love movies from all genres! Romantic comedy, drama, historical, animation, comedies, fantasy, sci-fi, and even some horror! I am somewhat easy to please, but I really appreciate a solid, well written/directed film.
With music, I'm a little harder to please. I like anything with good lyrics, a catchy melody, and clear musicianship. You can't go wrong with anything that is at least 30 years old!
I am not much of a reader, but I have really enjoyed The Great Gatsby, The Picture of Dorian Grey, Animal Farm, and The Maze Runner trilogy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking into the Notre Dame in Paris.
Watching the sunset in Venice.
Ziplining over a giant valley in the Black Forest in the pouring rain.
Standing on the edge of the Cliffs of Moher.
Seeing Les Miserables in London.
