Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used the be a member of Hospitality Club. A great experience where I hosted quite a few interesting people. Also been a guest a few times through Hospitality Club.

Currently preparing a big round the world trip with my wife and our 2 children. Before we go, we might as well host people and help people around in Copenhagen.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm reading all the time. All time favorite is Tim Ferris, The 4 Hour Workweek.

Music wise, I'm stuck in the 80s, so our teenagers think my music is embarrassingly bad.

Not so much into movies. Prefer documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few exciting things:
- lived in Thailand, alone and with my family (including our children going to school in Thailand).
- have family in the jungle in Thailand and stayed out there many, many times.
- decreased my need for sleep... and been on national TV to talk about it.
- lived off my internet business for several years.
- worked at WHO (United Nations).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
- minimalism
- climbing (bouldering)
- Thai language (aka. I speak intermediate Thai, so I guess it's more both of us learning and not just me teaching).

Learn:
- almost everything is potentially interesting. One of my rules is that everyone has something interesting to share.
