About Me

Hey out there. Describing oneself is always a difficult task I think. I guess at the end, it's always just a part - the one which you like most - of the person you are and especially as others experience you. So maybe to a get an hint what I am appearing to be to others, I will use the words used to describe me sometime: introverted/shy (changing after a short while ;), good listener, helpful, and certainly many others I don't remember at the moment 😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like the idea of traveling through a country and rarely get to know how is the life in it. That's why I always enjoy it to meet people who live there...

Interests

I can see an interesting points in many topics, that's why I really love it when people talk about topics I don't know anything about. So I'm always trying to learn something new. But in the end my main interest always ends up in trying to understand what people are thinking, what they doing and why they act like they act. I guess that's why I'm started studying sociology and still hang on to political theory...

Music, Movies, and Books

In general I like my mind to get carry away for a while - so I enjoy a good record, a book or a movie. If they catch me, I really can hang on to it for some time. Although I started with punk music, nowadays also like hiphop/rap music, post-rock or also sometimes classic music. With books it's even more complicated. As I'm studying political theory, I'm reading quite a lot but more philosophical or analytical texts. Still I'm happy about reading a novel which is not about arguing but about introducing the reader into another world...

Teach, Learn, Share

I think everybody can learn something from a person you meet. Sometimes it needs time to recognize what exactly this is. Sometimes it's obvious.

Countries I’ve Lived In
