ABOUT ME

All about me? Well here's at least a bit about me!
I've lived most of my life in Lévis, a nice town in the province of Québec. I went on exchange to Finland for a year after I graduated from high school, and I pretty much fell in love with the country (and someone :) )! All in all, I've probably about 4 years in Finland, which has become my second home. I'm a simple girl... but I seem to take the most complicated paths in life! I'm now studying in Finland.
I'm a down-to-earth and fun-loving person. I'm not a hardcore party girl, but I sure love to spend some good time with friends and meet new people over a few beers :)

For now it's not really possible for me to host since I am living with my boyfriend and he is not too keen about having guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had an amaaaazing time couchsurfing in California and met great people! I have only had good experiences!

Interests

Languages, northern lights, music, playing Risk all night long, tattoos, baking, poutine, cats (sadly I'm allergic to them :<), Irish dancing, Finnish folk dance, ice skating/rollerblading, maple taffy, maple sugar, maple butter, maple syrup, maple bacon, maple cakes, maple pies... OMNOMNOM.
So where was I...

Music : Children of Bodom, Edguy, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, ZZ Top, Rammstein, Racer X, Nightwish, Mr. Big, Mötley Crüe, Jimi Hendrix, Dio, Pierre-Yves Plat... this list could go on forever! Mostly metal and rock, but I like blues, jazz and classical music also.

Movies : Pulp Fiction, Eurotrip, Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Saturday Night Fever, The Matrix, This is Spinal Tap, etc

Tv series : Dexter, Father Ted, Six feet under

Books : His Dark Materials, Dracula, Harry Potter... Mmmm, I would need to check what books I have at back at home. I'm not reading much in Finland since the choice of books in French at the library isn't super extensive...!
