Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would be happy to host, when I can.
For many years, I have been hosting friends, family and travelers I have met on my own travel adventures.
I couchsurfed my way through Canada and Brooklyn.
The little things in life are important to me - cups of tea, sunsets, walks in nature, people watching, reading, sharing a bottle of red wine with nice company, learning new things, doing little creative projects, making jam, cooking soups, spending quality time, riding my bike, exhibition openings and listening to funk, jazz and soul music.

Not that I watch TV often, but if I do: The Wire, Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Treme, Northern Exposure - most things HBO
Music: In no particular order - Sharon Jones & the Dapkings, Nina Simone, Beastie Boys, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Alice Russell, Gillian Welch, PBS-radio stuff, Sam Cooke, Ann Peebles, WWOZ radio, Ella Fitz, Thievery Corporation, Ray Charles, Tool, Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro, Tijuana Cartel, Booker T, Lauryn Hill, Fat Freddys Drop, P-Funk, Curtis Mayfield, The Meters, James Brown, Blackalicious, Bob Dylan... that's what I'm listening to these days.
Teach, Learn, Share
I make an excellent pesto, vegetable soups, jams and chutneys and can make a soy chai from scratch. I would be happy to share all of my cooking skills.
