Hi :) My name is Maja and I am currently trying to introduce my boyfriend Tom to the idea of couchsurfing so I will write a little bit about both of us here :)
I am Polish and a freelance graphic designer currently looking for work as a project manager, I have some experience with producing tv show for kids. Tom is Czech and he is finishing his PhD in psychology, some complicated methodology/statistic methods. We both love to travel, love musicals and NYC and it's been our dream to spend Christmas in this wonderful city someday. Since pandemic showed us how easly things can get out of reach we decided to not wait anymore and just work on our bucket list as soon as possible :)
I am vegetarian and we both love to cook and find out new interesting recipes. We don't really party or drink much, unless it's good wine with dinner. Our idea of a nice evening is engaging conversations or good movie, or both 2in1 :) Tom is really passionate about music and I am little bit addicted to instagram. Used to spend lots of time photographing, hopefully going back to travel will reignite this passion :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been lucky enough to meet some amazing couchsurfers and I'd love to continue this adventure! The few places I visited and stayed with locals were the best travel experiences - it's amazing how differently you can see the city if shown by a local. I'd love to return the favour and accept some guests at my place, but unfortunately right now I don't have the conditions to do so. I'm more than happy to meet for coffee and show you around!

I could write a book about this :) I love musicals, I think they are a mix of book movie and music :) I watch a lot and try to be up to current new shows, recently the show I absolutely loved was Arcane and I never even played LoL.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of my biggest dreams are still on a to-do list, but I feel amazing every time I accomplish something that seemed impossible for me ;)
As for travelling lets say backpacking England alone for 3 weeks or spending 3 months of my life in a forest ;)
I also loved a 5 weeks trip in Asia with my friend.

I can tell you some photography tips and cook you polish food. I'd love to learn some new languages and find out how it is to live like a local in your city.

My time, my stories, my vegetarian cooking :) I have been told I am talkative, I really like discussing and finding out more about cultures, politics, world issues and science, well pretty much about anything :)
Not really a party person, I wouldn't mind a beer in a bar but probably won't want to go to a party.
