About Me

I'm 30, have done nothing but travel for most of my adult life. The majority of my travel experience has been limited to the U.S. East Coast due to my profession, but I have been to numerous other states for short trips and such. I'm a Marine Repair Technician, I work on boats/yachts and pretty much anything that floats and has an engine or sail. I'm very laid back and easy to get along with and enjoy good conversation and learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend and I left the east coast on a whim, headed out west towards San Fran. The trip has been... exciting, fun, difficult and stressful all at the same time lol. Traveling this way (basically backpacking, because we can't afford the usual methods) has been a very unique experience. I'm hoping to expand my resources, experience and knowledge by getting into Couchsurfing and meeting new people!

FYI: I will get "Verified" soon, but right now I have more important priorities that override the Fee.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite Genre is Country, but my favorite Artist is Taylor Swift. When I do get to watch TV... I like to watch NCIS, Criminal Minds, The Weather Channel and The Travel Channel, sometimes I watch random movies. I don't read backs at the rate as most people, but I typically like to read Non-Fiction, War/Military related books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was living/working in Biloxi, MS, the Gulf of Mexico was literally a walk across the street from where I was, when Hurricane Katrina made landfall... I'm a survivor.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn about boats or fishing or how to get the most power out of older Ford engines, I'm your guy! I'm afraid my experience otherwise is limited, but I do have some great stories to share!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a walking collection of the most fascinating true stories you'll ever find, all to be told in first person! I hope my stories will encourage people to go out and seek their dreams and pursue their passions. Life is about living!
