I'm a 21 year old girl from Australia traveling Europe and the United States in my gap year before I commence my degree in law. I work as a barista making coffee, and volunteer at a legal clinic for homeless rights in my spare time. I love to exercise, read, write and see live music. I love to laugh, and love people who can make me laugh :) I think people shouldn't take things too seriously and appreciate the small things

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to gain insight into unfamiliar cultures in an immersive travel experince. I wish to explore new cities through the eyes of locals and make friends for life. I hope to pick up on some new languages, and share my English with those who wish to improve their conversational skills.
I'm going to visit London, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens, Rome, Venice, Florence, Berlin, Amsterdam, New York, Michigan, Orlando, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Fransisco :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a diverse array of artists and authors. Live music in particular - I love music festivals and the unique atmosphere of a crowd.
To Kill a Mockingbird, The Book Thief, and the Tomorrow series are personal favourite books. I also loved the entire Song of Ice and Fire collection (so far!) and the Lord of the Rings trilogy
There are too many good movies to name!
