I love to travel and live in other countries. I'm Australian but lived in Spain for 7 years. Currently I'm on 1 year off and passionate about Indonesian culture/people/language, where I am spending as much of my year off as possible.
I have been volunteering teaching English and want to do this for the rest of my year off in Indonesia. I am on my way back from visiting my family in Australia and starting my TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) course.
I also speak enough French and basic Italian.
Everything ocean is me. Diving, surf, kitesurf, boating.. in, on, under all of the above. I like to be outdoors. I like to explore new things. I enjoy music, time with friends, foreign cinema.. so many things.
I am kind to all people, generous, respectful and of positive energy (and clean).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am just joining couch surfing because I have seen through volunteering this year, that the best way to stay in a foreign country is be with the local people. To learn and share life stories/cultural experiences and meet new/special people.

I like foreign film.
I listen to online radio from all over the world. I love most music. Jazz, blues, acid jazz, soul, funk, deep house etc... fun music.
I like to read something educating on culture and travel. Currently obsessed with everything Indonesia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One?
The most amazing thing I've done was teach English in central Lombok. The people were so inviting, sharing their lives and making me part of their family. The children were so appreciative, more respectful than a lot of people my age and so full of love. A very special time.
