I love to travel. I want to do more than just enjoy tourist attractions; I desire to get to know the places I visit. I hope that I can do something with these cultural encounters, so that I can be a part of healthy social transformation wherever I end up.
So, I am rather an ordinary girl with high ambitions in life. I realized years ago that I didn’t want to live an ordinary life in the ‘rat race’ so to speak, so I embarked on an adventure to Thailand where I have been teaching the past two years. I am very sad to leave, but I am ready to pursue other adventures abroad. I really want to see and experience other cultures. I hope to find out how the world lives and what people across the globe are up against in life and I really want to use my life to make a difference. Ambitious, I know. I am quite positive that no matter where I travel I will find beauty there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't have my own couchserfing stories yet, but I have heard many positive experiences from people I know. So...I am going to give it a go myself...
I enjoy many things in life. I am always keen on coffee and a conversation. I also enjoy dancing, singing, hiking, beaches, mountains, writing, reading, movies, musicals, ballets, operas, and the list goes on. I am really a person who is interested in enjoying life.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am easily entertained when it comes to movies. I love to laugh, so I have many movie options. When it comes to music I enjoy hearing what different cultures bring to the table, but deepest love is jazz.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done some interesting things in my life thus far and I hope to continue to add to that list. One thing I have done that was a really great memory was riding to the bottom of the Grand Canyon on the back of a mule. It wasn't the most comfortable trip ever, but the views were breathtaking and a great family trip.
