ABOUT ME

We just moved up here, to the San Francisco bay, and we would REALLY like to host someone before we go traveling in a couple weeks. So if you need a place to stay, email fast before we go!

We are oddball funny, pretty authentic, warm people. We met at the top of a mountain in a National Park called Zion!
We swim, hike in the hills around San Francisco, box, run, do yoga, eat odd foods, people watch and travel locally for fun. We are VERY simple people with very minimal needs. Seriously. We'd love to visit with REAL humans in their native habitat. And we'd love to take our hosts out to dinner and meet their friends if thats possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While we are home, we will be hosting, of course, for visitors to the sprawl and beach and mountains and desert we call California!

Come visit, we are 30 min from San Francisco!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just once in Holland.
Worked great and we would like to extend the same kindness to someone else.
Id have couchsurfed more, but my travels were far too spontaneous for planning ahead on that trip.

We are campers, and tend to use the van for that. Campgrounds and National Parks are great ways to meet really interesting and happy foreigners on vacation!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I let a villiage of little kids in central Ghana (Africa) touch my skin, because they had never even SEEN a "white person" before. They were SO spooked and fascinated and happy. Amazing!

I can also make a good grilled cheese sandwich. And sushi too.
