ABOUT ME

I'm 23 years old and at present working as a substitute teacher in a primary school. That means I go in and take the place of regular classroom teachers when they are sick.
Whenever time allows I like to travel. Until now it was mostly around Germany and Europe but I would love to see more of the world soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed once in Seattle which was really great and hope to be surfing more in the near future.
By the time I live in a bigger place and actually own a couch I would like to be hosting people as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read. Therefore, I basically read every book i can get my hands on. Those are a few of my favourites:
One Day (or any other David Nicholls book), The Shining, Eleven, The Book Thief, Harry Potter 1-7, Hector's Journeys...
When it comes to movies I prefer comedy. My all time favourite is Napoleon Dynamite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my time at school I spent one month as an exchange student in Visalia, California. I was living with a Mexican host family. The time there was really impressive; I got a closer look at the American as well as the Mexican culture and met lots of great people.
Another great experience was my trip in Canada (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary) and the US (Seattle) this year. Although I was travelling on my own I was never alone. In each city I met new people from all over the world.
