I'm an engineering student working through my senior year of university, and trying (and failing) not to worry too much about getting into a grad school.
Outside of that, I try to live all that life can offer - and I can't do that alone in a world full of amazing people. That means travelling, meeting strangers, sharing past experiences, and trying new things. I'm easygoing, friendly, and approachable, and always willing to step out of my comfort zone. Ultimately, whether it ends up as a crazy story about that one time in Budapest, as an hours long discussion on religion, or some combination of the two, I love nothing more than making life an adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always traveled using hostels, and met countless people with great things to say about couchsurfing - so I'm ready to give it a try!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'll enjoy a good song from any genre, but why is 80s music simultaneously the best and worst thing ever created by humanity?
Books: Sci-fi and speculative fiction mostly, and anything by China Mieville.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked from Barcelona, Spain to Vilnius, Lithuania for a folk dance festival over several weeks with some of my best friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
At heart, I am a complete nerd, and I have a strong urge to end up talking about something technical. But if you don't feel like hearing a explanation of lung biomechanics, I keep an open mind an am interested in learning more about anything from cinematography to linguistics (although I might be a bit hopeless when it comes to sports).
What I Can Share with Hosts
At least one unique and memorable story from my life... or the explanation of lung biomechanics, if you're in to that.
