About Me

So about me? I'm a 24 year old Psychology and Philosophy major graduate from wollongong, Australia. I love my home but I love travelling more it seems!
I am really easy going and I've learnt to go with the flow of life. I don't like making concrete plans, especially when travelling because you never know what or who you might stumble across. I'm new to couchsurfing and hope to meet some fantastic people along the way who may perhaps change the course of my travels, or even my life.
Also, I'm a vegetarian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to meet more locals and break the "tourist bubble". It's great to meet other travellers but nothing compares with the depth of knowledge and advice that a local can pass on.

Interests

I love rock climbing! I'm a beginner indoor climber but really wanna get out there and do some outdoor climbing.
I love being outdoors so I also love going for hikes and walks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading. The last great book I read was The unbearable lightness of being by Milan Kundra. Definitely in my top 10.
Reading Hemingway's Fiesta: The sun also rises. So far so good!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a Vipassna meditation course in Australia. It's a 10-day silent meditation course that teaches the technique of Vipassna. It was one of the hardest things I've done in my life but it was such an amazing and unique experience and well worth the suffering! I don't meditate, never have. But what was concreted for me after those 10 days was that everything in life is temporary, the good and the bad. After all nothing is permanent, not even us. So best enjoy life as it is, while it is.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well... Hopefully an enjoyable experience for both of us! An experience that leaves both of us with only good memories.
