ABOUT ME

In 2009 I lived and worked in Thailand, volunteering in orphanages in Bangkok. After coming home and becoming restless, I headed over to Australia in 2010 and backpacked/worked for 12 months. Since coming home I've started my own business as a freelancer. I write and I manage Social Media for several companies around the world. Starting in Feb 2014 I hope to couchsurf Europe as a global traveler, and write an Ebook about freelancing and travelling as a 'Remote Worker'.

PHILOSOPHY

Decided that living for a career and then dying at the end of it, or cramming in all my travelling when i'm too old to do the things I could have done wasn't for me! So decided to live for now and go out and see the world With my history as a journalist and my experience as a freelancer, I'm determined to turn my 2014 trip into a successful blog/book.

I want to become a seasoned couchsurfer and help to keep the phenomenon going. I love the idea of building a global community with those who love to travel and to meet new people. I can't wait to be part of this community because these are two of my favourite things!

I've couchsurfed unoffically as a traveller, but never through the website, although I know quite a lot of couchsurfers and i've heard nothing but good things!
