I currently manage a branch of a translation company (I know, all that studying Geography and IR to end up working with languages? What can I say, sometimes life takes us into some very interesting paths), but my interests are very diverse. I may be a little shy at first, and am a bit of an introvert, but once you get me talking I can go for hours!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I recently decided to join Couchsurfing so I could meet new people and learn new things and languages, and also maybe showing a little bit of Lisbon and it's wonders :)
- historic sites
- tv series
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Books - pretty much anything Neil Gaiman writes, Contact (Carl Sagan), LOTR (Tolkien), Murakami, A Song of Ice and Fire (George R. Martin - don't even get me started on his never finishing the books), Jane Austen, The Sherlock Holmes series (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)
Movies - Contact (1997), Star Wars, Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings, Wonder Woman, pretty much anything Marvel throws at me (even if it's not that good), The Jason Bourne trylogy. I love movies with good humor, action and fantasy.
Music - I'm VERY ecletic, but tend to listen to a lot of rock, pop and MPB. Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Marisa Monte, Beyoncé, Missy Elliot, Alanis Morissette, Sia, Deolinda. Currently (still) obsessing over musicals and Hamilton.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I've done some pretty amazing things, but Hang-Gliding was definetely the most scary one!
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Would love to learn some Spanish, or maybe try and remember some Japanese.
Can talk for hours about pretty much anything, and could also teach some Portuguese.
