My husband Ben and I are now retired in Barnstable, Cape Cod, MA, having spent most of our adult life working and raising children in the Washington DC area. I was a school psychologist and Ben was a labor lawyer. Among are favorite activities are reading and current events; hiking, biking, kayaking/canoeing, and otherwise keeping fit; visiting/hosting grown children and grandchildren; and traveling in the US and abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ben and I also belong to the Affordable Travel Club and Evergreen, other hosting organizations, as well as two home exchange organizations. We enjoy traveling and meeting new people, and are interested in expanding our opportunities for doing both.

Interests

When we travel, Ben and I mostly like to explore more rural settings with an abundance of natural beauty and outdoor recreational activities available. We also enjoy visiting cities from time to time, as we enjoy opera, symphony concerts, ballet, art museums, and other cultural opportunities.
