ABOUT ME

i don't know where to start from...I'm marco i lived in italy for 21 years of my life..
I spent one year in Vilnius as an erasmus student,where i lived an incredible experience that i couldn't even dream before choosing to compile the erasmus modules!! In Vilnius i shared my flat with two friends, one lithuanian and one italian(with whom i decided to go to lithuania...bytheway, great decision!)and with whom I discovered CS!
Then i went back to florence, and studied for 3years more to get my degree dreaming again a period of great trips.. I spent my last year preparing mylast exams and thesis and my lifetime trip: the Mongolia charity rally! With 7 other friends we bought a van and drove from italy to Mongolia passing from the southern part of the silk road. It was an incredible experience, reaching mongolia wasn't so easy..but we finally did it! I'm writing now from ulanbataar, ready to leave this amazing country to visit Beijing's region and than probably Shanghai. I'll be travelling with two great friends of mine (Jacopo and Cristiano) that are part of "The goodfellas team" and came with me driving from Italy.

I'm an outgoing person, i like to speak with people i find interesting and i like having lots of friends i can count on.
When i meet someone i like to speak about all the things i like.. architecture, art, travels, cars, motorbikes, design, music, history, football! I don't read many books but i'm very proud when i finish one and i find out that i really like it!
I don't smoke, i hate the smell of sigarettes on my clothes and i hate people who doesn't care about that. I can't stand people who are not sincere...I like discovering different cultures,
i believe that luck helps only the people who risk and try to do things. I'm not scaramantic, but i believe in coincidences.
I like my life and hate people who complain about everything! If you don't like something try to change it.
When i put all myself in something i'm really disappointed if i fail.

I like to try new things and be able to do them..! If i succede in something(even if it's really stupid) i can be proud of myself for a long time! I like to give confidence to people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first one was in Finland and i really enjoied it. Then i was hosted in Russia where I also met other couchsurfers that drove us around the city: it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
I hosted several times people from Russia, South Korea, Mexico, Colombia, estonia...and was definitely a lot of fun. I think that CS is more than a way of travelling!

Interests

I like travelling of course..and hosting..and be a guest!
I like going to concerts, playing football, skiing, meeting people by chance and travelling with every mean of transport..car, train, boat, motorbike and caravan! I would like to try to travel by bike
