To travel, couchsurf, repay my hosts with italian cooking.
Open mindend and curious, I like to try new things and to indulge in those I like.
One thing assured: I'm good at cooking. And not only at that, I hope.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm quite new to couchsurfing but I have high expectations!
I like to travel and explore. Walking around a new place, feeling simple pure happiness.
Cooking and eating are one of the best things in life.
Music, friends, having fun, books complete the recipe.
Music, Movies, and Books
Book/writers: J.L. Borges (everything wrote by him), Cormac McCarthy (The Road), Dante, English Poetry, De Quincey, Dino Buzzati, Edgar Alla Poe.
A very good book I read recently: The Emperor of All Maladies.
Directors/Movies, just a few: Wes Anderson, Hayao Miyazaki (everything), Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Bronson), Park Chan-wook (Lady Vendetta), Spike Jonze (Adaptation), David Cronenberg. And a lot of old '80 movies like Back to The Future, Carpenter's movies and so on...
Music: The list would be too long. But I used to play the piano so I even like classical music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wandering in Machu Picchu.
Being face to face with a lion.
Eating an onigiri, on the street, in Kyoto.
