I was born and raised in italy. I started to travel after I finish a long relationship many years ago.
I would describe myself as a really curious person, I am passionate about many "heavy" topics such as history, philosophy, religion, arts but also IT that is actually my job. For this reason I read a lot, I like to spend my free time hiking in the nature, playing sports, discovering new cultures but, unlike most of the people, I am not attracted by the "party"/"fiesta" concept, I don't really feel the need to "loose the control". I find all of this: boring, unhealthy, so a waste of time and money. As you can see from my references I had some problems with party people in the past, if you are coming to Barcelona to party I might no be the right host, for everything else: you are welcome! :)
"Rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness... give me truth."
(Henry David Thoreau)
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. (Robert Frost)
"Happiness is real only when shared"
Honor is what no man can give you and none can take away, honor is a man's gift to himself. (Rob Roy)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to host people because I love the idea of travelling as a way to open your mind and learn from other culture and I find really unfair that some people can't afford it. I considered myself lucky to be able to host and show my culture and the city where a live to them so when I can I am happy to do it

Teach, Learn, Share
I love my culture (Italian) and I love barcelona so I am happy to share this with all my guest. I can show you the historical center, tell you about the catalan modernism architecture (gaudi in particular), we can go together and try the best food in town or I can suggest you where to go if I can't come with you. As I said I am not a Party person, many people come to Barcelona for party and I had a couple of bad experiences with this kind of "couchsurfer"/"tourist" . If you come for party I might no be the best choice.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a shared flat in the center of Barcelona. When I host I put a bed more in my room so you can sleep there.
I try to let you feel like home so you can enjoy my, kitchen and living room with no problem
