About Me

Saving the world

My name is Marco Díaz Calleja. I'm an occasional entrepreneur; I save one world at a time.

I'm passionate about solving humanity's grand challenges, such as human aging, poverty, and war. In order to do so I'm applying innovation, entrepreneurship, and a whole new level of craziness.

Right now I'm focused on developing my own business. You can't do heroics without eating, you know. I also look forward to meeting more entrepreneurial people who want to have a global impact.

My mission is now leading me to Aarhus, Denmark. I'm interested in joining The KaosPilots, "the best school for the world". It's a cool entrepreneurial institution based on real-life assignments.

I'm visiting soon to take part in a workshop exam. I also want to meet the school phisically, because reading about it is not enough to fall in love.

Finally, fun is of the utmost importance. I hope we can create some amazing stories together.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I'm brand new. Chat with me while I'm still shiny.

I would enjoy both hosting and surfing. I'm all for meeting interesting people from different parts of the world. Plus, I love accents, great conversations, and crazy fun.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I edited the first national security policy for Felipe Calderón, the president of Mexico, when I was 16.

I studied with one of the world's foremost experts in innovation, Dr. Guillermo Aguirre, from MIT.

I met Steve Wozniak, Apple's co-founder. It was kind of a big deal, considering he's the father of both the personal computer and my favorite organization.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to share! One of the most amazing things I have learned is that you don't have to work like a slave to live like a millionaire. In fact, it's a requisite not to. Google Tim Ferriss; you'll see what I mean.

Countries I've Visited

Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
