I'm 34 years old, ridiculously optimistic and very flexible. Needless to say, I like to travel and meet people, share stories and learn new things about countries, languages, people, the planet etc. I can do corporate but prefer the free spirit way of life :-)
I am also married to the perfect man for me, Mark, the loveliest Brit who just makes me laugh so much and we have two lovely little boys: Timmy (8y.o.) and Leon (3y.o.).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In as nutshell, I am on Couchsurfing because you don't meet locals in hotels. But that is what I like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musicwise really all sorts from thumping house beats and psy trance to world music, pop and oldies, chill-out and rock'n'roll...
Not too much into Movies or watching TV apart from some good comedy.
I like books but don't get enough time to read, but if I do it's pretty much always non-fiction, philosophy, science stuff or sociology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh man, where to start/what is amazing enough? I've been to the fantastic Boom Festival in Portugal - what an amazing time.

I love making German Christmas biscuits (around 10 different kinds each year).

I recently decided to leave my corporate conventional life behind as I did not find it fulfilling. This is the one life I have, it's not worth spending a lot of time doing things I don't enjoy.

I am not one for diving with sharks or jumping out of planes, but watching the sunset/stars while I swim. Simple pleasures. You get the idea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning. I think it's our purpose and I find it very exciting. There are not many topics I do not find interesting (yet, they exist). I think I can offer some facts, questions and wisdom in return. As well as some Germanisms.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am definitely up for cooking (and associated tasks) as well as sourcing a good wine or beer to go with our food. Or, on some days when cooking seems less appealing I could treat you to a take away. I am up for helping you with anything you need help with.
