Hi! My name is Mareike, I am a 22 year old student from Frankfurt in Germany and currently living in Bayreuth.
I´m an open minded person, I enjoy meeting new people and am always curious to learn new languages. I love doing sports, spending time with friends and my family, travelling and reading.
Two years ago I spent six amazing months in south-america, traveling, taking spanish courses and doing an internship in a bank in Ecuador. I loved the possibility to get in contact with local people and to get to know the country and the culture so much better. Therefore couchsurfing offers a perfect opportunity for me to do the same in other parts of the world :)

I´m a fan of all sorts of detective stories especially of ones by scandinavian authors but I also love to spend some time in front of the tv watching series like Suits, Grey´s Anatomy, Sherlock Holmes, Homeland or Downton Abbey :)
