CURRENT MISSION
Learn about the world and meet some of its great people :)
ABOUT ME
Well, my name is Margaret but I go by "Molly." I'm 18 years old and live in northern Louisiana (United States). I absolutely love to travel and I need a friend base overseas. My dad is a pilot so I get free or discounted tickets on any flights I take and it's torturous to have that perk and not be able to use it (because I don't have connections overseas). I'm a vegetarian (but I eat chicken and fish). I love animals. I am very outgoing. I love learning new things and experiencing new cultures. I'm going to India this summer with my Indian friend and her family for three weeks to immerse myself if that culture and I'm so excited! I'll be going to college in the fall, but I plan to travel on my time off and holiday breaks.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not a particularly religious person. I LOVE a good theological conversation though! One of my favorite subjects is religion as I was raised Christian and have many friends of varying faiths. I'm still searching for the right one though, so I don't really practice any certain thing right now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently living at home (as in, with my parents) and I'm not sure if they'd accept any couch surfers right now. However, if any are in my area I would love to meet you and show you around! Hopefully pretty soon I'll be getting my own apartment so I can host some surfers as well!
Interests
I love to read and explore. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes as it provides me with a way to travel when I can't do it physically. The exploring kind of speaks for itself. I love nothing more than to get lost in a foreign city and go into hole-in-the-wall restaurants or strange little markets. I love climbing mountains and wandering through forests. I just love to experience the great things the world has to offer and I really can't wait to do more of that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to London for the first time in 2009 and I was absolutely blown away. I had wanted to go there for at least 5 years prior and finally getting to go and see all those fabulous sights was an amazing thing for me. I remember flying over it to the airport and seeing Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament and I was so happy I thought I was going to burst! I want that feeling more often and I've found that traveling is what triggers it. I went to France and Italy last year with a group of friends and that wonderful exciting feeling came back and that was when I realized that travel is what I want to do. Meeting new people and experiencing other cultures is the one thing that makes me the happiest.
