About Me

I'm from Lithuania but at this moment I'm living and working in Malta. I came here because I was kinda tired of everything in Lithuania, I stopped my studies, quit my job and here I am! I'm a positive person, I like to talk a lot, to share my stories and listen about other people experiences, I'm honest and open-minded. I'm still trying to find out what I want to do in my life, who I want to be and what dreams I want to pursue and that's why traveling means a lot for me. I really believe that it is the best way to evolve, experience life, find yourself and get better as a person!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel as much as possible cause as I said before it is the best way to evolve and find yourself but as we all know it is not very cheap to book hotels every time you want to travel. And it's going without saying - it's an amazing chance to meet new people who can share their life experiences and stories with you, who can become your friends and guide you a little by showing the best places in their city!

Interests

I don't have a big hobby or talent like painting, acting, singing or something like that but I still like many things and I find it amazing to learn and try new things when you have a chance cause that's how you can find something you are really passionate about! I still haven't done a lot of stuff I always wanted to, like bungee jumping, parachuting, etc but I hope I will change it soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like watching movies and TV series, to be honest I watched hundreds of them so if you need any advice what TV show or movie to watch, you can contact me :D
I don't read books often but not because I don't like it (I really enjoy a good book) but sadly I do not have a lot of time for that, especially now when most time I spend at work. However, last author which I was reading and enjoyed a lot was P. Coelho (especially "The Alchemist").

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bought a ticket to Malta, stopped my studies and quited my job without considering it, without having a plan, without talking about it with anyone. It was one of the bravest things I've done and at that point of my life it was the best thing I could have possibly done for myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

It is so annoying when people tell you how to live, how to do things in your life, when to do them and so on. Cmon, just let it be, let people evolve, make mistakes and learn from them, explore the world, try different things in their life, let people to take their time to find themselves. Stop pushing them to do something they don't want, stop telling what is good for them and what decision they should make and how they should go on with their lives. It is not something for other people to tell. Everyone needs certain amount of time to realize what they really want to do and how they want to live. I have no idea what I want to do in my life and the truth is - I don't have to know, I'm only twenty years old, I have all my life in front of me to figure it out. I know that there are a lot of people like me who don't know what they want, who they want to be, what they want to do for the rest of their life, what dreams they want to pursue. IT'S OK. All the pressure other people put on you - don't give a shit about it, do your thing, TAKE YOUR TIME, don't listen to anyone, do whatever what seems to be the right thing at that moment. If you fail, whatever, accept that, learn from that and try again. Just remember, stop letting others affect you and your decisions, if you don't want to study - then don't, if you hate your job and you want to quit - then quit, do whatever you feel like doing. Maybe it will take the rest of your life to find yourself and maybe you will never truly know what is your passion, what is your calling and what is your path, but the journey of trying to find out who you are can be the most incredible and amazing experience if you just let it. Just do whatever what makes you happy at this moment, try to live to the fullest and the rest, the rest will work out one way or another.
