ABOUT ME

I recently completed a Masters Degree in Tourism in Queensland. I decided to work and travel in NZ for a few months to take a break from my studies, check out this beautiful country, and decide whether or not I want to begin a PhD program. Not only did I make my decision (yes, although I have to actually apply first...), I also found inspiration for my research topics and future career! (would love to tell you all about it if we meet : )
I've been WWOOF'ing here in NZ, which has been wonderful. Have met lots of fabulous people and learned about organic growing, sustainable living, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I do my best to live my life in the most ethical way possible. It's the only way I know to truly achieve happiness/contentment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just heard about couchsurfing from a fellow traveler. I'd love to try it out a bit in Christchurch before I head out of the country in mid April.
Once I get a place of my own I'd also love to offer my couch to fellow travelers!

Interests

I absolutely love the outdoors...particularly bodies of water. I'm content to just chill outside or do a variety of activities (cycling, wakeboarding, day hikes/tramps, snowboarding, the list goes on).
I'm very interested in sustainability - particularly with regards to day to day living as well as tourism.
