To complete mystudies and as a part of that, my language training.

ABOUT ME

Ugh, that's kind of broad.

I'm kind of nerdy, and not that good at making new friends. But that's improving though (not the nerdiness, I'm proud of that).

I might stay up late, but that's on my computer, not partying. I really don't like loud music. I prefer a nice quiet bar or pub where me and my friends can drink couple of beers or ciders and talk about everyhting without having to raise our voices.

PHILOSOPHY

One of the things that separates humans from rest of the animals is the capability of going beyond instincts. This applies to many things, such as helping those who are doing poorer than us, not using "instinct" as an excuse for sexual harrasment, etc.

I'm an agnostic (while it might be nice for something greater than us to exist, ther isn't any proof yet), feminist (I believe in equality, people are mainly people, not men and women), somewhat leftist (state should help people who are doing poorly) and a vegetarian (though I won't preach this, you're allowed to make your own choices).

Music: Symphonic/power metal. Finnish poprock. Soundtracks. Smooth jazz. Almost anything that's lyrics-driven and not rap/hiphop. If I'd have to mention something people outside of Finland might know, Nightwish.
Movies:Adventure and animation are favorite genres. I don't like movies that scare me or leave me feeling bad. Lord of the Rings. Harry Potter. Avengers. Almost anything by Pixar.
Books: Fantasy, definitely. And detective stories. Again, Harry Potter. Anything by Diana Wynne Jones. Sherlock Holmes. Agatha Christie. Lord Peter Winsey books. Terry Pratchett. Robin Hobb. Harry Dresden books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...it's kind of sad I cannot think of anything to put here...

Amazing to me, well I recently did my first solo trip abroads, with having to change planes and all, and it went well. Also flying over the Alps and seeing real mountains for the first time in my life.

Uuumm, I know English pretty well, considering I'm studying it. And Finnish too, because it's my mother tongue.

Or I could tell you about Homestuck or some other webcomic I enjoy. I dunno, my interests have mostly to do with media.
