I am a faculty member at St. Petersburg State Electotechnical university 'LETI', currently writing a doctoral thesis (General and Historical Linguistics).

Being mad about travelling I use every opportunity to visit new places and meet new people. Twice I have studied abroad - both times in Germany (Dresden and Bamberg).

I am friendly, co-operative and enthusiastic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My experience of working with foreign students taught me how little they know about our beautiful city and country in general. It' s a pity as St. Petersburg has much to offer)))

Having a basic tour-guide education, being interested in history, arts and architecture I am ready to share my knowledge and experience with new friends in Russian, English, German (and if you do not feel yourself comfortable in the abovelisted three - in Spanish, but it may turn out to be a bit problematic as I haven't spoken Spanish for several years)

I'd like to invite You for a walk around St. Petersburg. Working at University I have either mornings or evenings free. I can help you plan your visit, give tips on places of interest, reasonably-prised cafes and canteens, keep you a company, give some general information on history of the city, history of the country, some amazing facts etc.
