I'm a freelance writer and helicopter pilot preparing to move from Wickenburg, AZ to Malaga, WA sometime in the spring. Until then, I have a nice guest room to share with interesting people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until the beginning of February, I was hosting at my house. But since then, things have become a bit too complex with my pending move to host. In the future, after I move and I'm free to travel again, I hope to hit the road (with my tiny dog?) and try out a few couches around the country.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I've seen herds of wild horses, 100 animals strong, galloping through the Nevada desert as I flew past them in a helicopter only 200 feet up.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I've been living here in the Arizona desert since 1997. Although I'm preparing to move on to the next chapter of my life, there's a lot about the desert that I know and would love to share. There's a pretty good chance that a couch surfer at my place will find himself/herself beside me in my Jeep, exploring dry river beds, canyons, and rough two-track roads -- perhaps with a little education about the flora and fauna around us.
