About Me

CURRENT MISSION

LOVE, LEARN, LAUGH

ABOUT ME

I am a laid back person who loves meeting new people and going on random adventures with them. I was born and raised in Argentina, lived in Miami for 3 years, Hawaii for a summer, and have currently been in DC for almost four years. I love hiking, volunteering, playing guitar, and hanging out with people, doing just about anything. I also like happy hours and going out at night. As the eldest of five kids I m used to sharing with others and having company on my daily life. Overall I m spontaneous, authentic, and resourceful and would love to meet other like minded individuals from around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything in moderation, even moderation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have wanted to join CS for a really long time but finally decided to do it after meeting some really cool CSs in a random bar in Buenos Aires. I hope to first start hanging out/ showing CSs around but also start hosting very soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have often had friends, friends of friends, and friends of friends of friends crash at my place. Can't wait to start hosting and crashing with some legit CSs though!

Interests

I am currently a second year law student (please keep reading, it gets less boring!). I am currently focusing on family law practice; however, I also very, very interested in entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship/ product development is more of what I would like to work in, so my studies will soon be taking a turn that way.
Other than school, I like to spend my time travelling or hanging out with friends. I don't watch much tv, but prefer to go on a walk around town instead. I just signed up to become a DC walking tour guide so I am really excited about that!
My house is clean (look at the pics) but at the risk of scaring some people off, I will confess that I also love dumpster-diving/ garage sales/ craigslisting. I promise, though, by no means will you find a Portlandia kind of thing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuD1oDth6es)

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite book: On Heroes and Tombs, Ernesto Sabato. I also like Snow Falling on Cedars, To kill a mockingbird, any Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and yes... I have read The Hunger Games.

Love music and listen to almost anything but I m really bad with names. Currently playing on my Pandora: Jimmy Cliff.

I watch almost anything but some that come to mind: Whatever Works, The Sound of Music,You've got mail, Notes on a Scandal, Pretty Woman

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a volunteer trip to Nicaragua during my sophomore year of college. Working with kids who literally lived in a garbage dump was an experience that marked me for life.

Catching my first wave in Hawaii was definitely another highlight.

Went on a five day sustainable living and meditation retreat to Narrow Ridge, TN. The mountains, the water, the peace, the stars... blew my mind.

Countries I’ve Visited
