ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. Somehow ended in Washington, DC for college; I landed here in August 2009 knowing that whether I loved or hated it, it would be home for 4 years...and I ADORE THIS CITY! I'm finishing up college and heading back home to Cairo where a different sort of crazy life awaits!
I spent 1/3 of 2011 in each of Cairo, DC and too-many-places-to-list-only-one in Ghana

PHILOSOPHY

To live life ABUNDANTLY, as I was meant to live it by bringing God glory and myself joy.

Light bulbs, globes and urban farming are my latest obsessions. Also attempting to memorize the Animaniacs "Nations of the World" song...just for fun! (and to prove my brother wrong)

Traveling (too obvious?), protesting (too many causes!), worshiping (I absolutely love praising God), listening to people share deep thoughts and experiences, crashing my comfort zone and learning new things (it started with simple things like getting myself in the kitchen and learning to cook, knitting to quiet my mind, doing yoga, etc). I love a little disagreement, I enjoy the challenge and if we can agree to disagree, everyone will end up learning a little something!
