Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and getting to see new places through the eyes of locals who love their cities and love to share it with strangers ! Having the opportunity to stay with people in their homes is a great way to make friends and get to know the city better !

Interests

I am a visual artist, I mostly am working in painting and drawing, some installation and sound work. I went to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I studied Painting, Architecture History and Art Theory. I am using my time this year to check out some new art communities and possible graduate programs for the future - I am also just really into checking out architecture and city planning in other countries - one of my favorite reasons to travel ! Very down for good street food, underground music venues, and dope furniture design.

I have little for patience for people who are not open minded or accepting of alternative communities. I am very passionate about Civil rights - I love listening to what other people have to say, and am generally down for most things, but not when it is slandering against/or exploiting other communities or groups of people. I am just trying 2 b respectful and straight up lol
