About Me

I guess all of us here can be described as Global Citizens, so I will leave this one behind (sort of!). One of my main drivers in life is to be literally out of my comfort zone and, this has happened every time I jumped on a plane to a new country - especially, in those with really, really different and diverse cultures.

This passion to explore the world was born during my active years at AIESEC, which gave the chance to attend several international congresses globally and to live in such unique countries such as Spain and Philippines, besides Portugal, of course. What I am most proud of is about my volunteering experience in Jordan, during Ramadan of 2016 - I have a special care for Arab countries!

Today, I am a marketer at a tech start-up that aims to remove language barriers - isn't this all so connected?

PS: I am vegan, so I'd love some hints on where to have incredible meals eheh

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I've traveled across many continents and cultures, I've never done it fully by myself on a self-exploratory trip. I've decided to take this step for the first time, and what's best than CS to literally immerge in one's culture?

In 2018, I am doing Spain, Lebanon, Jordan and Warsaw - let's meet up!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: Armaggedon

Books: all kinds of biographies of women in the Middle East

Music: I am more a kind of a pop-girl

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a good one - while there's nothing you can think of at first, then so many memories suddenly appear!

I decided to move to the Philippines for an uncertain time without even going on Wikipedia to know what's the culture, the language, the demographics, etc - I just checked what's the currency. I've been extremely introvert and shy my whole life so I felt I needed to be crazy at once - and I did it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I truly care about transforming our world, especially when it comes to climate change. I am not an expert in the topic when it comes to scientific facts or whatsover. But I do love to make a contribution in everything I do - I would love to learn more on how to live a zero waste live and to explore vegan meals with you wherever you are :)
