About Me

I love life, the world and meeting people and want to experience as much as I can.

I studied languages at university and have since been travelling and working all over the world. In the last 10 years I have worked in a youth hostel in Germany, teaching children English in Spain, studying in Cuba and Germany, volunteering teaching children in India, managing 30-40 volunteers at an NGO helping poor families in Ecuador, at a dog rescue in Argentina, at an organic farm in Thailand, as a surrogate mum for orphaned baby monkeys in Bolivia, as a private Spanish tutor in the UK, running a hotel bar in India and as a chalet host in the French Alps (amongst other things!)

I am passionate about helping people and animals. I love nature, cooking, learning new skills, music, yoga, being outdoors and getting my hands dirty. I am a lifelong vegetarian and a pretty good cook (usually vegan if in a position to choose) and would love to learn more about cooking, growing food and sustainable living. I speak several languages and love practicing them. This summer I'm hoping to learn the guitar and cycle around Europe stopping at workaways/couchsurfing on route. I am open to ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love connecting with new people and learning and sharing from others' and my own experiences. Particularly enjoy meeting people who are open to meeting new people and enjoy travelling/exploring.
