Overview
About Me
It's my first on line profile so I hope you - who read me - to be indulgent... I'm not used to virtual social networks, I feel more confortable with real ones...
I'll be in Sydney for a week from 8th of Jan. I didn't plan anything at the moment as I wish I could rely on you and more generally on people I'll meet to get tips on where to go, what to do, etc. And if you're keen to come with me, that's even better!
After this aussie week, I'll fly to NZ with a one way ticket and see what kiwi people would like to show me of their so far country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new on Couchsurfing... but I'm already sure i will love it!
My idea is that I'll learn more about a country and its people by couchsurfing rather than staying in a backpack house. I travel by myself but don't want to stay alone, I want to socialize and learn from people I'll meet!
Interests
Nature (a simple pleasure...) and everything related to the environment, ecology, biology (even if I'm no good at it!), geology, etc. I feel always happy when I'm surrounded by mountains and love to practice outdoors sports there such as skiing, hiking, climbing, via ferratas.
I love books (rather than screens) because they are an endless supply of knowledges. I buy too many books and don't have time to read them!
Others things I'm interest in: snorkeling, sailing, travels (of course), just watching the sky (another simple pleasure), history, politics, savouring fruits yum :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge fan of Jack London's work and Forrest Carter is one of the authors who changed my view of the world! I mostly like to read travel stories and historical novels.
I really like music but I'm also really bad at searching it. I can listen the same playlist for a year!! So if you like to share your music, we're going to get along well! I like reggae, dub, funk, drum n bass, folk, electro, and many others...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing amazing but I recently hithhiked on my own for 1000 kms to visit a friend in south of France, my first "big travel" by hitch hiking
Teach, Learn, Share
That'd be great to learn from you a bit more about the history of your country and relationships people have within the society. I'd be also glad to share music and ideas of books with you.
The best I could receive from you would be to bring me in these kind of places where you can't do nothing but think "I'm really lucky to live on this planet!"
But if you cannot, i'm sure we'll find something else to do!
