When I was sixteen, I started my time with Lufthansa Technik in Munich. I learned to be an aircraftmaintenancemechanic.
Next to this it was the possibility to travel, cheap and often, that really changed my life and my perception of the world. I travelled mostly by myself, and over various continents. No school education before could have taught me what I learned during my journeys: just how much I had grown up in a bubble, as a middle-class child of the western world. Ever since, I have been reflecting myself, and my work, in a different way.
After realizing that the world has more to offer for me and vice versa, I left Lufthansa after 2 years of working.
Attracted by the free way of studying and the multifaceted opportunities I decided to apply at the University of Arts and Design in Linz, Austria, to study the program âÃâ¬ÃËspace&designstrategiesâÃâ¬Ãâ¢, where I am to combine creativity with my technical knowledge. All my works and projects are centered on the question of how creative processes could improve given systems and help to connect different disciplines. In my BachelorâÃâ¬Ãâ¢s thesis 'symbiotic space', I reflected on the relation between humanity and nature, the role of human beings on our home planet, which seems fragile at times, but will outlive us all.
Last year I spend 3 months in paris on my own, it was on of the best times in my life. And today I am again studying in linz/austria doing my master in space&designstrategies, living together in a shared flat with my boyfriend an one other firend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
hiring and surfing, posting events or participate on events, especially when i was in paris.
i sufed once in Paris, it was great and i hired three times people in paris and in austria. Last trip i surfed with my friend two times in iran. We met so nice people and had great time with them.
I have been dreaming of starting my own venture for a long time. Maybe because I hate nothing more than wasting lifetime in a boring job. Also I am convinced that no conventional job can offer me the opportunity to create my own, unique contribution to the world, where I can make a difference.
On my journey to find this contribution,i love travel the world and find people with similar interests. couchsurfing is a great pool for that!
