About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to find a witty thing to set as my current mission

ABOUT ME

I am a French girl, living in Germany with my Turkish friend by night and working in the Netherlands by day. So I am OK with a tiny bit of culture mix in my life!
It won't come as a surprise to any CS regular that as many among you, I love traveling and meeting new people. Sharing experience is my passion! I am a better listener than talker but I've got some good stories of my own. Truth be told I can be a bit shy and awkward sometimes but it goes in time (or people get used to it!). If I had to choose a word to describe myself, I would definitely say easy-going. And I'm also open-minded, curious, easy to make laugh and well, friendly!

PHILOSOPHY

well, I am more of a scientific kind of person so I would have rather leaving philosophies to people who know something about that. If I really have to give a life's motto I'd say: everyday I learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been active on Couchsurfing much since I started my PhD project, but a recent trip to Istanbul reminded me of the marvelous community that is Couchsurfing! So I decided to update my profile again, after few years! Now looking forward to host and surf again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed couches twice with the account of a friend of mine, in Hungary and Germany. It is really the best way to discover a city!
Oh and when I was living in Ouagadougou, i found my last roommate via CS, and we also had a great time!

Interests

I really really love asking people questions about their home country, even when I have never been there or have only a naive image of it. It's really great to be able to imagine or discover a country through the eyes of their inhabitants.
In general actually, I really like to learn from people, about their job, their passion, etc. I am not an expert on anything and I am always curious to get other people's opinions.
