ABOUT ME

I'm cheerful, open-minded and down to earth. A little crazy, too, but hey, the world would be boring if we were all normal, right?
I absolutely love flashmobs and other fun actions in public. I'd love to be part of one at least once in my life.
I'm a rational person, but I also embrace my inner child and love to share that with others.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind to other people, have fun, don't worry too much. But work hard to reach your goals; it is better to regret something you did than to regret something you didn't do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This August, a good friend of mine and I are going on an adventure. We're going to travel by train through Northern Italy, the coast and then back up to Budapest and Berlin. We are but poor students and would love a place to crash for free, especially if we can meet some great people on the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Both of us have no experience in couchsurfing, but we've heard some great things about it and we'd love to give it a try.

Interests

I love sports, especially field hockey. I also enjoy sailing, rowing and going to the gym.
My studies interest me very much. I also like hanging out with friends, laughing, going out and listening to good music. I can play the piano, but unfortunately there was no room for a piano in my small apartment in Amsterdam.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all kinds of music. Pop (P!nk, Lily Allen), rock (Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones), soul (Stevie Wonder) and some reggae from time to time.
My favourite movie ever is Undercover Blues. I first watched it as a small child and have watched it for about 15 times, I think.
I love to read books on a holiday. To just sit in the sun with a good book. That'll keep me busy for a few hours.
