Hey!
My name is Marika and I live in Rostov-on-Don in the South of Russia.
I study Architecture in college. Firstly it was my choice because I was passion about drawing and creating stuff, but during education I understood that I don't want to have 9-to-5 job. For me most important in life is freedom, is to be able to use opportunities that life can give. So now I work for freelance, draw, work as tattoo artist and do many others things that requires my creativity.
Another passion of mine is traveling. I never feel myself as cozy at home as I do during my trips in different places. Other reason why I love and want to travel is because it's the most organic way of education. I want to know everything! I want to be able to understand all kinds of people and their cultures and backgrounds.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I found Couchsurfing about 5 years ago and unfortunately at that time I wasn't be able to host or travel either. But now finally I have a little bit of time and money to explore the world. During traveling in Russia I like to stay at friend's friend's friend's houses, because people can always tell you really interesting things about the city you stay in. And I can't wait to experience Couchsurfing by myself.
