Overview
About Me
I'm a very positive, outgoing person with a real passion for traveling. I'm studying cooking in France at the moment, in a tiny, quiet apartment, in a tiny, quiet town. I have already traveled to many places, and made friends from numerous countries through my travels and studies abroad. I'm usually a very active person, and very outdoorsy, while I also love good books and quiet evenings with friends and family. I'm looking forward to meeting you! :) Unfortunately, I don't have room to host anybody as I only have a double bed and a one-room apartment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I visit new places, I like to get a deeper understanding of my surroundings, I want to see the city through the eyes of a local, not just visit the typical touristy places. I'd love to meet up with a local from the area and hear more about the city/country, the way they perceive it. As a student, I have to pay attention to my budget while travelling, so couch-surfing seems like a perfect way to reduce the expenses. I also love meeting new people, and I think it would be a great experience!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to almost anything, but I'm a big, big fan of indie music and rock/pop from the 70-90's. I have the occasional days where it's metal and hard rock all the way as well, or soft jazz and soul, which is another favorite. I really like the song California dreaming by the Mamas and the Papas, Killing me softly with Frank Sinatra, Hate & Love, with Jack Savoretti feat. Sienna Miller, Miriam by Nora Jones, and Blue jeans Blues by CC Top. I adore the movie Casablanca and the James Bond movies, as well as most things Disney. My favorite books are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin and Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's so hard to choose just one! I usually travel alone, but one of my fondest memories is from a two weeks work experience in Berlin, when I went there with some of my classmates, a great group of friends. The lazy afternoons in the park by the river Spree and the late nights in this welcoming, vibrant city still remains in the top ten of my ever-growing list of wonderful experiences.
