I am Marina - petroleum engineer. I live in the heart of Western Siberia, in the Siberian capital of oil and gas of Russia- Tyumen.
I am the president of the world’s leading geoscience societies – American Association of Petroleum Geologists, European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers, and Society of Exploration Geophysicists Student Chapters at Industrial University of Tyumen.

Interests

Every summer, I live in a tent for a few months, I go to the mountains and rivers in different weather conditions, and I cook food over a campfire and sleep on the ground. So I am not afraid of any difficulties, I enjoy working in a team, I love to discover the hidden and the unknown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a participant of the unique expedition in the Arctic and Antarctic. I have explored western Greenland and the eastern Canadian Arctic. While on the expedition, I have encountered wildlife, including whales, seals, polar bears, and seabirds; visited Arctic communities; learned about the effects of climate change on Arctic ecosystems.
