ABOUT ME

My husband Andrei and I are fun and spontaneous people. We love nature, especially ocean and spending time on our boat.

This year was full of events for us. Both of our daughters got married!!! The oldest in April and the youngest in August. In June my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary.....

For years it was our dream to celebrate our 25th anniversary in Australia/New Zealand, but with two weddings in the same year we decided to forget about it.... We did, but our children didn't..... We had the most fun surprise party with our friends and family and the kids topped it off with the tickets to our dream destination!!!! How cool is that???!!! ....... Still brings tears of joy to my eyes....

My husband works at Vancouver port. He is a barge operator and supplies big cruise ships with fuel. Prior that he was a first mate on the ferry.

I graduated from UFV in 2010 with a Nursing degree and since then work as a Registered Nurse at our local hospital in a palliative care unit. Due to the specifics of my job, I decided to live my life NOW, not when I retire..... because you never know.....

My husband loves water and loves diving. I can snorkel.... on a good day. I really want him to enjoy some diving experience in warm waters with most amazing marine life... Hopefully, we can find some friendly CS who will suggest some diving sites and maybe will join him for a dive or two :)

We decided to try CS for three reasons..... We still feel
the financial aftermath of two weddings :) Plus, now, that we have two empty rooms ( bonus!!!!) we can help out some travelers like us:) And, who knows the area better than locals? That's right - local Couch Surfers!!!!
