Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is (becoming more and more) Expensive. I believe in Karma, in a quote that would sound like "share what you have, receive what you give". When you plan an adventure like the one i'm living, you don't always want to sleep in a motel/hostel/hotel ... You wanna meet people in their places to feel immersed in the town or the country you are in. I want to make good connexions with people that have common interests and i want a nice couch to sleep on when bedtime comes or when i'm restless.

Interests

Music (Guitar-Keyboards-Drums)
- I listen to everything but i'm more into Alternative/Indie/Atmospheric types of music and i LOVE going to concerts. I've played drums in a band (Project Voidance) and i enjoy playing keyboards and guitar for my melodic ears specificly - i think could sing, but you might ask me to stop after a couple minutes.

Arts
- I've taken theatre classes in the past and i really enjoy photography. I haven't been to the Opera often but i've seen many plays. I miss going to museums and expositions so I'm opened to Ideas. I like fancy projects, working with different materials (oil, clay, wood) alone or in groups.

Travelling
-I'm born with a luggage in my hands. Since i'm a kid, my parents moved me around like a box and finnally free from their claws, baby bird is spreading is wings : i can now pick my battles, my cities and explore my surroundings at the convenient pace. I just love to see so much beauty... It might seem a little selfish, but if i could capture a bit of all the majestic places i've seen and trap those bits in a jar... I WOULD.

Meeting People
-People make everything better.
Well.... I mean not always. But without people, theres less to learn, to teach, to share. And people make the adventure also possible so love to the people!

No specific Titles in mind - not beacause i don't read, but mostly because i've been procrastinating on my desire to drown all my focus in the waters of great lines. I'm pretty good with Stephen King tho, and i really like reading Lolita Pile in French.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After living a peacefull routine-ish life, I've decided to leave my home town and discover some of the many and amazing places across the Americas. For me, it's intense crazy because it was pretty sudden and happened in 6months.

Now on a personnal lifeline experience, I would say forgiving my birthfather after he left the rest of my family and I, when me and my brother were younger; i'm hard on forgiving people easily, i usually forget them and actually forget about them, it makes things easier, but it doesn't solve problems or make up for things that happened.

I also witnessed a tornado when i was 6.

I think that everyone's life is amazing.
And everything I/You/We/They do is too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to speak/write in French ! But also make you believe in yourself and your dreams if you have trust issues (i'm not a therapist tho, i'm just human) I can give you cooking lessons and teach you how to mi all the leftovers in your fridge and make aomething amazing with them ! I'm also fantastic with kids - from everyone i've heard, i took some parental skills courses a while a go so i can actually make kids go to sleep, YES. I can show you how to make basketballs spin on your fingers and how to laugh like woody wood pecker ^D^

I wanna learn about everything i don't know. EVERY-SINGLE-THING. lol
But being specific, I want to learn about sustainability, about communities, about building houses, about gardening technics, about different cultures, i want to learn different language, learn more about you and maybe me too.

I'd like to share my cooking skills, my passion for music, my travelling experiences. I wanna share about my past beacause i'm probably addicted to the good old times. I wanna share the feeling of a "Home" for a short or a longer time.
