ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Marine and I'm a 19 years old girl who comes from France. I consider myself as a citizen of the world. I'm easygoing, friendly and very open-minded. I love to travel and meet people from different cultures. I'm a musician, most exactly I play the guitar and I sing. I think music is a really great way to communicate and exchange with others, it brings people together regardless where they're from or who they are. I'm also very concern by the idea of peace. I take part in events who aim to develop a culture of peace through music, human interactions, sharing.. ect. At the moment I've taken a gap year to practise music and to travel. I needed to go away from the education system some time. Now I've arrived at the conclusion that playing music is really what I want to do in my life, and I intend to go to university to learn music properly.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the most important thing is to enjoy your life and to take it easy. I think it's great to be someone who thinks about what he's doing, or what he will do, and why are we here, but sometimes you just need to let it go! We can lose hours trying to find what's the meaning of life, but in the end it will never be sure, it will always be just a supposition, a belief. What is real is that we're alive, and that is a gift which has been offered to us, and we shoudln't waste it, because that's all we have and it's worth it!

I'm really into music, and arts in general. I love a lot of kinds of music, but I think my favourite one is indie rock/indie pop. I also love folk, reggae, celtic music ...

I also like to read, but I've always had a problem to get into a story... I wish I was reading more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I'm someone who can be very helpful, so I'm up to a lot of things! Considering my skills I can help someone learn a bit of French, and I can also teach a bit of how to play the guitar! I love to take part in volunteering when it's for a great cause or to help my friends.
