COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been extremely fortunate to stay on the couches of some of the most wonderful and extraordinary people imaginable. Of course, should you put me up, I'd be delighted to host you in San Francisco. Check out the view from my living room in the photo section.
Centres d'intérêt
As a generalist, I have a wide range of interests. When I visited Yosemite for the first time, the sight of it accelerated my decision to move to California for extraordinary recreational opportunities: hiking and backpacking; skiing and sea kayaking...

The photo is of me riding a velomobile. (Think recumbant tricycle with a body)
In 2011 I was on the support team of "Roll Over America": 22 Europeans and 11 North Americans (including 4 with electric assist) rode their velomobiles from Portland, Oregon to Washington, DC in 28 days. Pedaling around 125 miles a day and tenting in campgrounds. Crusing on the flat at 20-25 mph, the 50-80 pound, highly aerodynamic velos crept up the Rocky Mtns with descents @ 70+ mph!
