ABOUT ME
An almost vegan, positive and optimistic person with a wide variety of interests. My past profession was in technology sales but am currently i'm teaching business English in the Czech republic. I love meeting warm and grounded people, and exploring wonderful new places . I'm naturally easy to get along with and very respectful. Having 3 children of my own has taught me patience and how to say 'No', firmly! We can have a light-hearted or in-depth conversation as long as it's not about Brexit!!
Graduate of Geography from Kingston Uni [London].
British-born father and Maltese-born mother.
PHILOSOPHY
To worry less and smile more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Our house is like a lighthouse - a small beacon of light in the middle of Europe where weary travelers can find a safe-haven for the night. LOL!! :))
I have always lent a hand to help people and that is why I'm on CS. We prefer stays of 1-2 days only as we have kids and they are always our priority.
Interests
Storm-chasing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am reading a book right now called Mindfulness. A practical guide to inner peace.
But i'm also reading 365 things to do and make with kids on rainy days!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As an amateur storm-chaser i am always amazed by the power of nature at its fiercest. I love to get into thunderstorms and experience them at close hand!
I once travelled 4 times by aid lorry from London to Bosnia during the Balkans conflict in the 1990s and helped deliver aid to refugee camps and hospitals. I still help raise funds for charity. Recently I visited a children's home in the Ukraine with 6 bags of clothes, toys, books and more :)
Teach, Learn, Share
If you would like to practice your English with a native speaker for an evening then I would love to chat and learn more about you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Being English i can share a nice cup of tea with you.
But also my British culture and sense of humour.
